Job summary

Newberry County Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, PRN, to perform ultrasound imaging and related procedures. The role includes verifying orders, documenting results, and ensuring timely interpretation by physicians.

Qualified candidates will hold SCQRSA license and RDMS registration; RDCS/CCI and vascular experience are preferred. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• SCQRSA license required.
• Must be registered as Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
• Vascular experience (RVT) or CCI (RVS) preferred.
• Echo (RDCS/CCI ACS) preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound imaging and procedures.
• Checks orders/requisitions prior to imaging.
• Maintains accurate computer documentation for studies.
• Monitors procedures for timely physician interpretation.

Newberry County Memorial Hospital is looking for a full-time Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, PRN who performs Ultrasound imaging and procedures, checks orders/requisitions prior to performing the imaging study/procedure; provides accurate computer documentation; and monitors procedures for timely interpretation by physicians.

Requirements

• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCQRSA) license required
• Must be registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• Vascular Experience (RVT)/ CCI (RVS) preferred
• Echo (RDCS/CCI (ACS) preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
