My Community Dental Centers Inc is hiring a Dental Hygienist in Michigan. The role focuses on comprehensive periodontal assessments, thorough cleanings, and precise radiography in a busy clinical setting.

You will educate patients on oral hygiene, maintain accurate records, and support the dentist with examinations and treatment planning. A Michigan license and an accredited hygiene program are required.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hygiene (Required).
• Current Michigan Registered Dental Hygiene License (Required).
• Local Anesthetic preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal screening and cancer checks.
• Perform dental cleanings to remove plaque, tartar and stains.
• Take, develop and review dental X-rays.
• Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride.
• Assist the dentist with patient examinations and follow-up treatment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and overall dental health.
• Document patient dental history and maintain accurate records and notes.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines.
