Job summary

My Community Dental Centers is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our Hillsdale, Michigan practice. The role offers a base pay of $41.00 to $43.00 per hour, full-time, non-exempt hours, with no nights or weekends.

Expect Monday–Thursday 7:45a–5p and Friday 7:45a–2p, along with strong team support and opportunities for professional growth. Requirements include an accredited Hygiene degree and MI license; Local Anesthetic is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelors in Hygiene from an Accredited Program (Required)
• Current Michigan Registered Dental Hygiene License (Required)
• Local Anesthetic preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct oral health assessments, inclusive of oral cancer and other periodontal diseases.
• Perform thorough dental cleanings to remove plaque, tartar and stains from teeth.
• Take, develop and review dental x-rays.
• Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride.
• Assist the dentist with patient examinations and conduct follow-up treatment as directed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and overall dental health.
• Document patient dental history and maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
• Adhere to all infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines.
