Job summary

DCS Clinical in Lexington, SC seeks a compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join a collaborative team. Provide preventive and periodontal care, educate patients, and help build lasting relationships with patients and families.

The role offers a full-time Monday–Friday schedule with 8:00 AM–5:00 PM hours (Mon–Thu) and 8:00 AM–1:00 PM on Fridays, and hourly compensation of $42–$48 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care.
• Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and other hygiene procedures within the scope of practice.
• Conduct periodontal assessments and oral cancer screenings.
• Take diagnostic radiographs as clinically indicated.
• Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care.
• Review and update patient medical and dental histories.
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with doctors and clinical team members regarding patient treatment needs.
• Follow appropriate infection control and clinical safety standards.
• Create a comfortable, welcoming experience for every patient.

Location: Lexington, SC

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM

Compensation

$42–$48/hour, based on experience

• 0–1 Year of Experience: $42/hour
• 2–5 Years of Experience: Approximately $45/hour
• Experienced Hygienists: Up to $48/hour, with some flexibility for highly qualified candidates
• Annualized Compensation: Approximately $85,176–$97,344, based on a 39-hour paid workweek (assuming a one-hour unpaid lunch Monday–Thursday)
