Family Dental of Lexington in Lexington, SC is actively hiring a Dental Hygienist and we’re ready to move quickly for the right candidate. We offer a full-time, flexible schedule (Mon–Thu 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM) and open to part-time as well.

There is a $7,500 sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly rate of $43–$48 based on experience, plus premium benefits, continuing education, mentorship, and a supportive, team-driven culture focused on quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
• CPR Certification required.
• Experience with standard dental hygiene procedures and patient screening.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Any years of clinical experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
