Job description

Bainbridge Island Family Practice is seeking an energetic dental hygienist to join our dedicated team. We prioritize excellence in both dentistry and patient care, aiming to provide the highest level of service. Responsibilities:

1. Perform adult and child dental hygiene procedures.
2. Restock hygiene rooms and maintain equipment at slow speeds.
3. Clean traps in treatment rooms.
4. Take dental X-rays.
5. Follow up on patients referred to periodontists.
6. Participate in continuing education courses.
7. Administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide (N2O).
8. Apply fluoride treatments and duraflor.
9. Perform Scaling & Root Planing.
10. Apply sealants and provide oral hygiene instructions.
11. Place medicated treatments as needed.
12. Take and protect patient information, including PHI (Protected Health Information).
13. Take impressions for study models, night guards, bleaching, and sports guards.
