Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Occasional weekends as needed

Requirements

License & Certification: Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 1+ years of practice

What We’re Looking For

At least 1 year of dental assisting experience required
Strong chairside assisting skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
CPR Certification required

Preferences

License & Certification: Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
Spanish or Armenian language proficiency is a strong plus
Must be reliable, team-oriented, and patient-focused

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

Prepare patients for dental procedures by ensuring comfort and explaining what to expect during their visit.
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments.
Sterilize dental instruments and prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist and ensure all images are of diagnostic quality.
Update patient records with information about treatments performed, procedures scheduled, and any concerns raised by patients.
Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions and guidance on oral hygiene and preventive practices.
Prepare and mix dental materials such as fillings, impressions, and bonding agents as needed for procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient communications, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, adhering to all infection control protocols.
