Responsibilities

Prepare tools and sterilize instruments for procedures.

Monitor dental supplies and restock as needed.

Pay

$18 - $28 per hour

Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

Monday - Friday (9am-6pm)

Requirements

License & Certification: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Basic life support, Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 2+ years of practice
minimum of 2 years of experience
BLS/ CPR certification

Job Description

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, cleanings, extractions, and more.
Prepare dental tools and equipment for procedures, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and properly set up.
Take dental X-rays (radiographs) and ensure safety standards are followed.
Maintain patient records and chart treatment progress accurately.
Provide patient care and comfort during treatments by offering reassurance and assisting with patient positioning.
Educate patients on post-procedure care and general oral hygiene practices.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and work areas in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Manage dental supplies by monitoring inventory, restocking, and placing orders as needed.
Assist with scheduling and patient management as needed, including appointment confirmation and follow-ups.
Maintain an organized dental office, ensuring all areas are clean and operational.
Support the dental team with administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and assisting with billing when required.
Follow safety and infection control protocols as set by OSHA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.
