Job summary

Kourosh Karimi DDS PLLC seeks a qualified Registered Dental Assistant to join our caring team in Washington, DC. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures and handle scheduling and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The ideal candidate is a state-licensed RDA with at least two years of experience, bilingual in Spanish/English preferred, and able to work two Saturdays per month. We offer a supportive environment and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be a state-licensed Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
• Working 2 Saturdays a month is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment for exams and procedures.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.
