Tahir R Paul Dental Corp / Kidz Care Dental Group in Escondido, CA seeks a qualified Registered Dental Assistant to join its busy pediatric/orthodontic team. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures, handle patient comfort, and manage scheduling. State licensure as RDA is preferred, with at least two years of experience.

The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and dedicated to creating a fantastic dental experience for families. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Current CA Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) licensure or in process.
• Coronal polishing, dental x-ray, and sealant certifications.
• Previous experience as a dental assistant.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Dentrix experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with parents and answer questions.
• Perform recall appointments including coronal polishing, x-rays, sealants, and SDF.
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.
