Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure.
• Two years of experience as a dental assistant.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and ensure comfort.
• Discuss the treatment plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment for exams and procedures.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Communicate with back and front office staff.
• Perform other duties as needed.

You will provide assistance in a busy and fast-paced office, assisting during exams and procedures and ensure various other tasks are completed throughout the day. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and has at least two years of experience. • Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have related to the procedures
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
• Communicate with back and front of office staff
• Other duties as noted

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure
• Previous experience as a dental assistant
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care
