Job summary

The Registered Dental Assistant at RWJBarnabas Health works in a hospital outpatient dental setting, assisting dentists and preparing patients for examinations and imaging. You will support patient care, maintain infection prevention standards, and help manage clinical workflow.

Qualifications include NJ RDAs, NJ radiography credential, and BLS certification within 6 months of hire; two years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current NJ Registered Dental Assistant credential is required.
• Current NJ dental radiography credential/license required to perform imaging.
• BLS certification including CPR/AED required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and chairside assistance during dental examinations and procedures.
• Prepare instruments, materials, and treatment areas; assist with radiography and patient positioning.
