Job summary

Norwalk Village Dental Center, Norwalk, CA, is seeking a qualified Registered Dental Assistant to join our caring team. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures and perform scheduling and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate is state-licensed as an RDA with at least two years of experience, strong communication and patient-service skills, and a commitment to high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from a CODA-certified program.
• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure.
• Previous experience as a dental assistant.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care.
• Radiation permit.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.
