Job summary

Union Family Dental is seeking a qualified Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures, provide superb patient care, and handle scheduling and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate holds an active RDA license and has at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from a CDA-accredited program.
• Current RDA state licensure required.
• Previous experience as a dental assistant.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification required.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment and provide to the dentist.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health, safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.
