Job summary

Tarrant County Oral & Maxillofacial is seeking a qualified Registered Dental Assistant to join our Oral Surgery clinic. As an RDA, you will assist the Surgeon during exams and procedures and handle scheduling and administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly.

The ideal candidate holds an RDA license, has CPR/BLS certification, and demonstrates strong computer and data entry skills along with excellent communication and patient-service abilities.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have.
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history.
• Prepare sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures.
• Assist Surgeon during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.
