Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Seattle to assist the dentist and ensure the best possible patient experience. You will help maintain a sterile, efficient operatory and support patients through treatment procedures.

The role emphasizes patient communication, precise record-keeping, and adherence to ADA/OSHA guidelines, with opportunities to participate in comprehensive dental care delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state training per certification/licensure rules.
• Dental assisting certificate or associate degree preferred or required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Participate in Perfect Patient Experience by keeping patients focused on optimal treatment.
• Maintain clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Assist doctors and take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
