Job summary

Precision Family Dentistry in Merced, CA is seeking a motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team. You will support the dentist across clinical procedures, take x-rays, and help with whitening, sterilization, and chairside care.

The ideal candidate holds an RDA license, has at least two years of experience, and demonstrates strong communication, reliability, and a patient-friendly attitude in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques.
• Understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
• Experience with Dentrix software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable.
• Positive attitude with the ability to create a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures.
• Take and process dental x-rays.
• Perform teeth whitening procedures.
• Carry out coronal polishing, temporary crowns, and other permitted duties.
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards.
• Prepare trays, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent chairside support.
