Job summary

Dentists of Santa Rosa is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support the dentist in delivering high-quality patient care. The role focuses on assisting with treatment planning, patient education, and efficient clinical operations.

You will maintain a clean, sterile environment, perform x-rays and intra-oral imaging as directed, and educate patients on oral health care. State-mandated certifications are required, with an associate degree or certificate preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus state-m mandated certification, licensure, or registration.
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by state (e.g. coronal polish, radiograph exposure, ultrasonic scaling).
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Participate in providing the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and support doctors for efficient care.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
