Job summary

Ampla Health in Yuba City, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support our dental team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role performs clinical duties under general and direct supervision in line with California dental regulations.

The candidate will assist with exams, charting, x-rays, coronal polishing (if certified), and travel to other clinic locations as needed. We offer a full-time schedule, medical/dental/vision benefits, and a team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Valid California RDA license.
• Current CPR and X-ray certification.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• High manual dexterity and physical stamina for clinical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams, charting, and basic dental procedures.
• Perform coronal polishing and sealant placement (if certified).
• Place and remove temporary dressings, post‑op dressings, and periodontal packs.
• Take x‑rays, perform pulp testing, and size crowns/bands.
• Maintain patient comfort and support dental providers chairside.
