Job summary

Chapa-De Indian Health in Rocklin seeks a Registered Dental Assistant to join our new clinic. Earn hourly pay by experience with full-time scheduling and a comprehensive benefits package, including employer-paid health insurance, generous PTO, and retirement match.

Responsibilities include patient prep, operatory setup, impressions, lab duties, and collaboration with dentists, hygienists, and staff to deliver high-quality care to American Indians and low-income families.

Qualifications

• Current RDA license is required.
• Current CPR, Radiation/X-Ray and Infection Control certificates.

• Prepare patients and operatory for treatment and assist with endodontics, oral surgery, pedodontics, prosthodontics and restorative procedures.
• Take impressions and perform lab duties: pour models, trim, and make bleach trays/night guards.
• Collaborate with Dentists, Hygienists, Sterilization techs and team to perform dentistry procedures.

Hourly Pay:

RDA I (1-4 years): $27.55-$30.50 per hour, DOE

RDA II (5-9 years): $30.50-$32.50 per hour, DOE

RDA III (10+ years): $34.05-$37.50 per hour, DOE

Schedule:

Full Time; 8am-5pm OR 9:30am-6:30pm

Exceptional Benefits:

• Employer-paid Health Insurance (medical, dental and vision): 100% for employee and 80% for dependents.

• 17 days PTO per year, 11 Paid Holidays, 8+ Sick Days (1 hour for every 30 hours worked)

What You'll Do:

• Take an active role in preparing patients and operatory for treatment with pride to perform exceptional dentistry for endodontics, oral surgery, pedodontics, prosthodontics and restorative procedures

• Taking impressions and completing laboratory duties such as pouring up, trimming models, and the making of bleach trays/night guards.

• Collaborating with Dentists, Hygienists, Sterilization technicians and other Chapa-De team members to perform these and other functions pertaining to dentistry procedures
