Pleasanton Children’s Dentistry & Braces is seeking a motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our pediatric orthodontic team in Pleasanton, Texas. You will support dentists during procedures and help ensure a positive patient experience in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of RDA experience, TX RDA license, BLS certification, and comfort with chairside and four-handed dentistry. Bilingual abilities are a plus and beneficial for our diverse patient base.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant is required.
• Proficiency in chairside and four-handed dentistry.
• Strong clinical and technical dental assisting skills.
• Active Texas RDA License.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Take patient x-rays, impressions, and orthodontic records.
• Prepare patients and assist the orthodontist during procedures.
• Bond brackets and scan images.
• Clean, prepare, and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records.

About the Role

As a valued member of our clinical team, you will play an essential role in supporting our orthodontists and ensure each patient has a positive experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Taking patient x-rays, impressions, and orthodontic records
• Preparing patients and assisting the orthodontist during procedures
• Bonding brackets and scanning images
• Cleaning, preparing, and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Maintaining accurate and organized patient records

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
• Proficiency in chairside and four-handed dentistry
• Strong clinical and technical dental assisting skills
• Active Texas RDA License
• Current BLS certification
