Salary: $23.50-$32.75 per hour

The primary role of the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is to assist the dentist in patient care, office, and laboratory duties, ensuring compliance with safety, infection control, and permitted duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for treatment with urgency.
• Participate in providing a positive patient experience by addressing individual needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment, prepare patients for treatment, and assist the dentist.
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; relevant training courses as mandated by state.
• Certifications/licenses as required by state (e.g., radiograph, ultrasonic scaling).
• Associate degree or certificate from an accredited institution preferred.
