Job summary

Ampla Health is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in California to perform duties legally allowed for the role. The position includes charting, tray setup, pulp testing, crown sizing, post-extractions and periodontal dressings, with opportunities for sealants and coronal polishing where certified.

The candidate will support multiple Ampla Health sites, maintain professional standards, and collaborate with staff, patients, and the public in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Valid California RDA license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid X-ray certificate.
• Ability to perform duties per evaluation factors.
• Navigate several clinic systems.
• Knowledge of Ampla Health’s clinic structure, standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Inspect oral cavity with mouth mirror and chart lesions, restorations and missing teeth.
• Place and remove temporary sedative dressings.
• Perform pulp tests.
• Size stainless steel crowns, temporary crowns and bands.
• Place posts and periodontal dressings after extractions.
• Conduct coronal polishing if state certified.
• Place sealants if state certified.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Flexible to work at other Ampla Health sites as needed.
