Eastern Iowa Health Center in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant to support our community’s health care delivery. You will help ensure a positive patient experience, prepare operatory, record health history, and assist care providers during procedures.

The ideal candidate is a State of Iowa Registered Dental Assistant, EFDA certification preferred, and able to communicate effectively with a diverse patient base.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a positive patient experience, ensuring patients are treated with care and compassion while maintaining efficient and productive patient flow.
• Collect and record patient health history, prepare operatory for patient care, and set up instrument tray and materials.
• Maintain records, data and information on dental services rendered.
• Provide appropriate patient data to support staff, physicians, dentists, and managers.
• Assist the care provider and attend patient needs in the provision of optimal comprehensive care, before, during, and after procedures.

SCHEDULE

Monday through Thursday8 AM to 5 PM and Friday8 AM to 12 PM.

COMPENSATION

$20.80 to $34.32 depending on experience
