Job summary

The Smilist Dental in Brick, NJ is seeking a reliable Registered Dental Assistant to join our team of professionals. You will support dentists during procedures, maintain a sterile operatory, and ensure patient comfort while addressing individual concerns.

• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and assist doctors to provide efficient quality dental care.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups and manage supplies in each operatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - at least 1 year
• NJ x-ray license required
• RDA license
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude

• Schedule:Full Time - some Saturdays required
• Salary Range:$26.00-$30.00/hour
