Job summary

Johnson Family Dental in Atlantic, Iowa is actively seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to work closely with our Dentist. This role involves preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, and educating patients about oral hygiene.

The ideal candidate will have a CPR or BLS certification along with a Registered Dental Assistant license. The position offers a compensation range of $18-$22 per hour along with various benefits.

Qualifications

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday-Thursday 7:45am-4pm, Biweekly Friday 7:45am-12pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort
