Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to work closely with our Dentist. The role includes preparing rooms, assisting during procedures, taking X- rays, and educating patients.

The position offers benefits and a commitment to a supportive workplace. Schedule includes Monday, Thursday, Friday 8am-5pm and Tue/Wed 8:30am-5:30pm. Certifications required include CPR/BLS and registration as a dental assistant.

Qualifications

• Certified to perform CPR or BLS.
• Registered dental assistant in good standing.
• Able to assist the dentist and educate patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required.
• Ensure infection control protocols and safety regulations.
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling and processing payments if needed.

Monday, Thursday, Friday 8am-5pm, Tuesday & Wednesday 8:30am-5:30pm

Responsibilities
