Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Dental Assistant with 2 years of experience to join our friendly and dynamic practice. If you're a team player who is comfortable using intraoral digital scanners and eager to grow in the field of digital dentistry, we want to hear from you!

32 hours one week : Monday-Thursday 8AM-5PM

40 hours next week : Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM

JOB SUMMARY

The Dental Assistant will perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties, work chair-side as dentists examine and treat patients for dental procedures, and instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up treatment rooms following all procedures.
• Prepare patients for treatment.
• Answer patient and employee questions.
• Assist the dentist with instruments and materials.
• Take X-rays and create study casts.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene.
• Document patient care in records.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow infection control policies.
• Stay updated on professional knowledge.
• Assist the team as needed.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

RDA license required

X-Ray Certification required

Coronal polishing required

Basic CPR Certification required

Proficient in Eaglesoft is a bonus but we can teach

Good computer and typing skills.

At least 2 years of experience in clinical setting as Dental Assistant.

Eaglesoft program is preferred

Able to use sound judgment, calm disposition and the ability to work easily with people.
