Job description

We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic and hard working individual to join our team as an Orthodontic Assistant. If you are personable, professional, possess a positive attitude and a passion for exceptional customer service, then we want to hear from you. Patients are our priority and we take pride in making sure they feel welcomed and cared for at all times. We have two locations in Tiburon and Novato. An RDA is preferred, but we are open to a DA looking to learn and grow or someone who wants to transition to their dream career creating beautiful smiles. This a full-time position at 4 days a week, Tuesday-Friday.

Job Responsibilities :

• Greet and seat patients
• Review medical history and other pertinent oral health information
• Provide dental assistance and complete procedures as directed by the orthodontist : x-rays, photos and impressions
• Provide education and individual counseling to each patient (e.g. oral hygiene, rubber-bands, care of appliances)
• Document provided orthodontic services on the patient’s chart and schedule next appointment
• Clean and sterilize chair and instruments
