Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring, FL is hiring a cardiac ultrasound technologist to troubleshoot and document echocardiography procedures. You will independently prioritize clinical and administrative tasks while maintaining hospital standards and patient comfort.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ARDCS/RCDS, RVS, RCS, RVT credentials, and BLS, with an Associate’s degree preferred. This full-time, day-shift role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

• 1+ year experience in cardiac ultrasound preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and corrects recording instrument malfunctions.
• Independently prioritizes clinical and administrative work and identifies process improvements.
• Processes patient and department records, ensuring documentation of performed tests in accordance with hospital standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Adjusts approach based on patient and family understanding of test procedures and deals with various personality types, ages, and levels of consciousness.
