AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced cardiovascular sonography specialist to perform echocardiograms and vascular studies in a full-time day shift. The role emphasizes thorough patient histories, precise imaging, and compliant documentation, within a collaborative, safety-conscious environment.

The position requires RDCS/RVT/RCS/RVS certifications and a preferred Associate’s degree in cardiovascular sonography, with at least 1+ year of relevant experience; BLS is mandatory.

Formación

• RDCS, RVT, RCS and RVS certifications required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in cardiovascular sonography preferred.
• Associate's degree in cardiovascular sonography preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Obtains a complete and current history of the patient and the reason for the exam.
• Performs quality echocardiogram and vascular studies for adequate diagnostic evaluation by the reading physicians.
• Obtains all views required for processing.
• Inputs notes and history at the completion of the exam.
• Inputs data at the completion of the exam.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Checks practitioner orders for accuracy and clarify with offices, floors, or physicians as needed.
• Notifies the floor if the patient has had an echocardiogram within the past six months.
• Utilizes all safety measures provided for the department and individual technologists.
• Always uses two types of patient identifiers, such as name and date of birth.
• Assures proper positioning, technique, and protocol for each exam.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
