Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking an experienced Registered Breast Sonographer / Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality breast ultrasound imaging in an outpatient setting in Greensboro, NC. This full-time role offers Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts with no weekends and compensation of $36–$49 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or related field.
• ARRT certification and active registration in breast sonography or willingness to obtain breast certification within 90 days.
• Active North Carolina Radiologic Technologist license and proficiency in X-ray/fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Review images for technical quality and diagnostic value.
• Assist radiologists with breast procedures and biopsies as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and clinical protocols.
• Educate patients and address questions professionally and compassionately.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
