Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Outpatient Imaging is seeking a Sonographer to provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound while delivering an excellent patient experience. This full-time role rotates among Winston-Salem, Kernersville, and Greensboro centers, offering variety and collaboration with different teams and workflows.

Requirements include graduation from an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, ARDMS or ARRT(S) registration, and OB/Abdominal/General credentials with RVT

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Must be registered through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or ARRT (S).
• OB, Abdominal, or General certification is required upon hire.
• RVT certification is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging and deliver an exceptional patient experience.
• Perform ultrasound exams safely and efficiently.
• Assist and adapt to working across three outpatient imaging locations (Winston-Salem, Kernersville, Greensboro).

Education

Sonographer - Full-Time (3 days/week)

Position Summary:

As a Sonographer, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience. You’ll use your experience and expertise to perform Ultrasound exams safely and efficiently while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. This full-time opportunity is scheduled three days per week and will rotate between our three outpatient imaging centers, offering the opportunity to work with different teams, patient populations, and workflows. This position is ideal for an experienced, adaptable technologist who enjoys variety, works well in different environments, and takes pride in providing excellent patient care.

Job Details:

• Position Status: Full-Time Flex (30-40 hours/week)
• Schedule: 3 days/week from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Requirements: RDMS and RVT certifications are required for this position.
• Location: You will float to cover all of our outpatient imaging locations:

• Winston-Salem (265 Executive Park Boulevard)
• Kernersville (861 Old Winston Rd, Suite 105)
• Greensboro (3120 Northline Avenue, STE 101)
