Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a General Sonographer to join a mobile diagnostic imaging team in Columbia, SC. This full-time, permanent role provides ultrasound services across healthcare facilities, with daily travel to nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and other sites.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and hold ARDMS or CCI certification, with RVT/AB, RVS or R.T.(VS) credentials, plus a valid driver’s license and COVID-19 vaccination or

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS or CCI certification required.
• General and Vascular credentials required (ARDMS: RVT & AB, CCI: RVS, or ARRT: R.T.(VS)).
• Valid driver's license required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (or approved exemption).

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile general and vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Operate portable ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Upload and transmit images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Verify physician orders and patient identification before procedures.
• Travel daily to nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and other healthcare sites.
• Maintain accurate documentation and daily billing paperwork.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and company vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare staff, and patients.
• Work independently while providing professional patient care.
