Every day as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will:
Direct supervision of daily routine ASD on a 1:1 basis (individuals areminimally verbal and/or non-verbal Autism population)
Implement activities for daily living/activity programming
Facilitate Communication (typically PECS) Programming
Ensure the safety and supervision of the children
Provide interventions to children with emotional support and behavioral health needs
De-escalate and mitigate behaviors
Documentation/shift notes

Position Details:
Salary: Starts at $21.00 / hour PLUS additional compensation: Shift differential (up to $2.00 / hr). Relevant experience in field (up to $2.00 / hr). Credit for higher education ($.48/ hr for Bachelors degree; $.72 / hr for Masters degree).
Shifts: Currently hiring for 2nd (2:30pm to 11:00pm) with limited 3rd shift availability (10:45pm - 7:15am) . Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sundays)

Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED required
Requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required
Experience:
Schedule:
Must be able to complete a two-week (Monday - Friday) new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Orientation is held in Titusville.
Must be able to work weekends. Required to work Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
Must be able to work holidays.
Other Requirements:
Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test, Physical, and TB Test.
Valid driver's license
Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Must be able to drive a car and a passenger van (which holds up to 15 passengers).
