Job summary

Sunny Days Sunshine Center in Edison, NJ is seeking dynamic RBT therapists to join our outpatient pediatric team. You will support children with ASD using ABA techniques, collect data, and collaborate with BCBA supervision. Part-time with daytime, after-school, early evening, and weekend hours are available.

The role emphasizes a positive, energetic approach, a passion for helping kids reach their potential, and ongoing training opportunities within our supportive center.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children with autism & using ABA methodologies.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred but not required.
• Candidates must be energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping children.

Responsibilities

• Use ABA principles (reinforcement, prompting, shaping).
• Teach ABA, social, and daily living skills.
• Respond to and minimize disruptive behaviors.
• Create a motivating, fun learning environment for each child.
• Collect data on ABA targets and track progress in an online system.
• Support parents, teachers, and caregivers to implement programs at home and school.
• Implement programs designed by BCBA.

We offer flexible schedules for part time with daytime, after school, early evening, and/or weekend availability. We are hiring RBT therapists to work at our Outpatient Pediatric Center located in Edison, NJ

About Sunny Days Sunshine Center

The Sunny Days Sunshine Center offers children and their families a place for developmental services and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) therapy. A one-of-a-kind center designed to promote positive behavior, increase quality of life, and enable individuality, the Sunshine Center embraces children and their individual needs.

The Sunshine Center is dedicated to children of all ages experiencing challenges with learning, social skills, sensory processing, speech/language difficulties, and/or motor development delays.

The Sunny Days Sunshine Center provides both individual and group Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy sessions to children of all ages.

Job Responsibilities

• Use the basic principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) such as: reinforcement, prompting, and shaping techniques.
• Teach ABA, social, and daily living skills.
• Effectively respond to and minimize difficult or disruptive behaviors.
• Create a fun, motivating experience to generate the highest level of performance for every individual.
• Collect data on ABA programming targets and utilizing an online system to enter, track, and view progress.
• Providing support to parents, teachers, and caregivers to make the most of their efforts in making our programs universal across all areas of the child's environment.
• Implement programs designed by BCBA.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children with autism & using ABA methodologies is required. We will provide coursework to obtain RBT at our Center, if interested.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis field is preferred but not required.
• Candidates must be energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping children achieve their true potential.
