Job summary

Sunny Days Sunshine Center in New Jersey is seeking dynamic ABA therapists to join a family-like, supportive team. Part-time roles with daytime hours Mon-Fri 9:00–3:30, plus after-school, evenings, or weekend slots, aim to foster growth in children and involve families.

Responsibilities include applying ABA principles, teaching social and daily living skills, collecting progress data, and coordinating with parents and caregivers. A BCBA-designed program ensures structured, engaging sessions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children with autism & using ABA methodologies is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred but not required.
• Candidates must be energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping children achieve their true potential.

• Use the basic principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) such as reinforcement, prompting, and shaping techniques.
• Teach ABA, social, and daily living skills.
• Effectively respond to and minimize difficult or disruptive behaviors.
• Create a fun, motivating experience to generate the highest level of performance for each individual.
• Collect data on ABA programming targets and utilize an online system to enter, track, and view progress.
• Provide support to parents, teachers, and caregivers to maximize the effectiveness of our programs across all areas of the child's environment.
• Implement programs designed by a BCBA.

We offer flexible schedules for part-time with daytime hours available Monday through Friday, 9-3:30. We also have after school, early evening, and/or weekend availability.
