Job summary

Sunny Days Sunshine Center in Manalapan, NJ is seeking energetic RBT therapists to join our outpatient pediatric team. You will implement individualized ABA programming under BCBA supervision, deliver therapy to children with autism, and support families in daily activities.

We offer after-school, early-evening and weekend shifts with competitive hourly rates, medical and dental benefits for part-time staff, paid sick leave, 401k eligibility, and ongoing trainings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children with autism and using ABA methodologies.
• Energetic, animated and outgoing with a passion for helping children reach potential.
• Associates or Bachelors in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA programming under BCBA guidance.
• Teach ABA social and daily living skills to children.
• Respond to and minimize difficult behaviors and track progress.
• Collect data and document progress using online systems.
• Support parents, teachers and caregivers to apply program strategies.

Job Responsibilities Our ABA and RBT Therapists implement individualized applied behavior programming under the direction of a BCBA including direct 11 ABA therapy Responsibilities are as follows

• Use the basic principles of applied behavior analysis ABA such as reinforcement prompting and shaping techniques
• Teach ABA social and daily living skills
• Effectively respond to and minimize difficult or disruptive behaviors
• Create a fun motivating experience to generate the highest level of performance for every individual
• Collect data on ABA programming targets and utilizing an online system to enter track and view progress
• Providing support to parents teachers and caregivers to make the most of their efforts in making our programs universal across all areas of the childs environment
• Implement programs designed by BCBA
