Job summary

Sunny Days Sunshine Center in Brick, NJ is seeking a Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) to join our outpatient pediatric team. Daytime, part-time hours with potential after-school or weekend slots are available.

You will implement ABA programs under a BCBA, collect data, and support families while helping children build communication, social, and daily living skills. Competitive hourly rates and professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with children with autism using ABA.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in ABA field preferred but not required.
• Energetic, animated, and outgoing with a passion for helping children.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA programming under the direction of a BCBA.
• Apply ABA principles such as reinforcement, prompting, and shaping.
• Teach ABA, social, and daily living skills.
• Effectively respond to and minimize difficult or disruptive behaviors.
• Create a fun, motivating experience to generate high performance for each child.
• Collect data on ABA targets and enter/track progress in an online system.
• Provide support to parents, teachers, and caregivers to maximize program effectiveness.
• Implement programs designed by BCBA.

Registered Behavior Therapist / RBT - Daytime

Join our family of dedicated therapists committed to providing a positive, supportive, and collaborative environment that fosters growth and learning. We offer flexible schedules for part time with daytime hours available, Monday through Friday, 9-3:30. We also have after school, early evening, and/or weekend availability. We are hiring RBT therapists to work at our Outpatient Pediatric Center located in Brick, NJ.

Competitive rates: RBT based on education/experience $25-$30 per hour. ABA rates based on experience $18-25 per hour.

• Implement individualized applied behavior programming under the direction of a BCBA, including direct 1:1 ABA therapy.
• Use the basic principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) such as: reinforcement, prompting, and shaping techniques.
• Teach ABA, social, and daily living skills.
• Effectively respond to and minimize difficult or disruptive behaviors.
• Create a fun, motivating experience to generate the highest level of performance for every individual.
• Collect data on ABA programming targets and utilize an online system to enter, track, and view progress.
• Provide support to parents, teachers, and caregivers to maximize the effectiveness of programs across all areas of the child's environment.
• Implement programs designed by BCBA.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children with autism & using ABA methodologies is required. Coursework to obtain RBT will be provided if interested.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis field is preferred but not required.
• Must be energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping children achieve their true potential.
