Job summary

Autism Center of Excellence in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children with autism through one-to-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. We are seeking compassionate and dependable Registered BehaviorTechnicians (RBTs) who are passionate about making a meaningfuldifference in the lives of children with autism. Whether you're anexperienced RBT or newly certified, you'll be supported by anexperienced clinical team committed to quality care, professionaldevelopment, and helping you grow in the field of ABA.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Provide direct 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BoardCertified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect session data and complete documentation using ourelectronic data collection system
  • Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development
  • Follow individualized behavior intervention and safety plans
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and other team members tosupport client progress
  • Maintain professional and compassionate interactions with clientsand families
  • Complete required documentation accurately and on time
POSITION DETAILS

Pay: $22.00–$27.00 per hour

Required Availability: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Service Setting: In-Clinic

Requirements
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmentaldisabilities preferred
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between servicelocations when applicable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining appropriatecommunication with supervising clinicians
  • Ability to successfully complete required background checks andpre-employment requirements
