Job summary

Autism Center of Excellence in Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking dedicated individuals to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism. As an RBT, you'll implement treatment plans, collect data, and collaborate with families and BCBAs.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide one‑on‑one ABA therapy to children with autism in clinic, home, school, and/or community settings, depending on assignment.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect session data and complete documentation using our electronic data collection system.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other team members to support client progress.
• Build positive, professional relationships with clients and their families.

• Schedule: Tues, Thu, Fri - 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (In School); Wed - 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (In Clinic).

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or willingness to obtain certification (we’ll help guide you through the process).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client locations, if applicable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and pre‑employment requirements.
