Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to support students with ASD in school-based settings. Under the supervision of a BCBA or qualified professional, you will implement behavior support plans, collect data, and contribute to educational goals.

Requirements include RBT certification (BACB) and a high school diploma with a preferred bachelor’s degree in psychology or education.

Qualifications

• RBT certification (BACB) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required as baseline; experience with ASD is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior support to students using ABA principles.
• Deliver direct instruction and behavior analytic strategies.
• Collect data and monitor progress on student behavior.
• Support skill acquisition and adaptive behaviors.
• Implement behavior plans and positive support strategies.
• Collaborate with the school-based team and BCBA supervision.
• Maintain documentation of interventions and progress.

Position Summary

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school setting, you willprovide direct behavior intervention services to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)or other developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst(BCBA) or other qualified professional, you will implement behavior support plans, collect dataon student behavior and support the educational goals of students with behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities include

• Providing behavior support to students
• Delivering direct instruction using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principals
• Data collection and progress monitoring
• Skill acquisition support
• Implementing behavior plans and positive support plans
• Collaboration with all team members
• Documentation

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) (Required)
• A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field, is preferred
• Experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities in a school or clinical setting
