Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to support students with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental challenges in school settings across multiple states. You will implement behavior support plans under BCBA supervision, collect data, and contribute to educational goals.

The role offers diverse placement opportunities, guided by Clinical Leads and Directors, with ongoing professional development and a supportive team culture focused on student

Qualifications

• Experience working with children/adolescents with ASD in school or clinical settings.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; effective communication with students, families, and staff.
• Familiarity with ABA concepts and data collection practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior support to students using ABA-based strategies.
• Deliver direct instruction and implement behavior support plans.
• Collect data on student behavior and progress monitoring.
• Support skill acquisition and positive behavior supports.
• Collaborate with BCBA and school team; document interventions and outcomes.

Position Summary:

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school setting, you willprovide direct behavior intervention services to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)or other developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst(BCBA) or other qualified professional, you will implement behavior support plans, collect dataon student behavior and support the educational goals of students with behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing behavior support to students
• Delivering direct instruction using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principals
• Data collection and progress monitoring
• Skill acquisition support
• Implementing behavior plans and positive support plans
• Collaboration with all team members
• Documentation

Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)(Required)
• A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field, is preferred
• Experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities in a school or clinical setting
