Behavior Change Institute is a nationally recognized service agency specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for individuals diagnosed with autism and their families. We seek motivated professionals committed to improving the wellbeing of others.

Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: Santa Fe, NM

Reports to: Direct Clinical Supervisor (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)

Pay: Training rate $14.60/hr, then $23-$25/hr for therapy services

Minimum Availability: At least three afternoons per week between 3-6:30 pm MT, with preference for staff available MWF, M-Th, or Tues-Fri on a set after-school schedule.

We provide ABA therapy in various settings including homes, schools, clinics, and community environments, focusing on improving communication, behavior, daily living, safety, and social skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional and ethical standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Criminal Background Check Clearance
• Reliable transportation and valid U.S. Driver’s License
• Proof of Auto Insurance (if applicable)
• Successful completion of BCI’s credentialing process
• Fluent in Spanish

Training & Certification

Paid 40-hour online coursework, virtual skills clinics, and competency checklist. Additional required training includes CPR/BLS and RBT exam. Candidates may already possess RBT credentials.

Skills & Physical Demands

• Effective communication, empathy, and behavioral intervention skills
• Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to intervene in physically demanding situations
