Job summary

Total Care ABA is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children in home and school settings across New Mexico. Earn $20–$29 per hour while contributing to meaningful progress and family support in a flexible schedule.

This in-home and in-school role offers training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development as part of a mission-driven team dedicated to helping children with autism reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current RBT certification preferred.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized ABA therapy services.
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document client data accurately.
• Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development.
• Collaborate with families and clinical team members.
• Travel to client homes and community settings as required.
• Services provided in person throughout New Mexico.
• Participate in staff training and ongoing learning and performance improvement.

What You Will Do

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with children in home,

school, and community settings to help them develop the skills they need to succeed.

• Deliver individualized ABA therapy services
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Collect and document client data accurately
• Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development
• Collaborate with families and clinical team members
• Celebrate client successes and help create meaningful progress
• Accurately keep record of client’s progress
• Travel to client’s homes/community settings, as required to deliver services
• Services provided in person throughoutNew Mexico
• Participate in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvement

What we expect from you:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, dependable, and open to feedback
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
• Experience working with children preferred
• Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
• Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Schedule Options

Full-Time - 35–40 hours per week

Part-Time - 10–20 hours per week Flexible Shift Options Available

Travel opportunities may be available depending on location and client need
