Job summary

Total Care ABA is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to support in-home and in-school ABA services across New Mexico, including Carlsbad. Earn $20–$29/hour with flexible schedules and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

We provide training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth, with a mission to help children achieve meaningful progress and families gain support. Travel to client homes is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel locally and have reliable transportation.
• Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy services one-on-one with clients.
• Implement treatment plans created by a BCBA.
• Collect and document client progress data accurately.
• Support communication, social, and daily living skills development.
• Collaborate with families and clinical team members.
• Travel to client homes and community settings as needed.

What You Will Do

• Deliver individualized ABA therapy services
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Collect and document client data accurately
• Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development
• Collaborate with families and clinical team members
• Celebrate client successes and help create meaningful progress
• Accurately keep record of client’s progress
• Travel to client’s homes/community settings, as required to deliver services
• Services provided in person throughoutNew Mexico
• Participate in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, as well as commit to continued
• learning and performance improvement

What we expect from you:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, dependable, and open to feedback
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
• Experience working with children preferred
• Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
• Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Schedule Options

Full-Time - 35–40 hours per week

Part-Time - 10–20 hours per week Flexible Shift Options Available
