Job summary

Ability-Builders Consulting Co. in Virginia Beach is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to implement ABA treatment plans under a BCBA supervisor, helping children and individuals with ASD and related developmental conditions.

You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home, school, and clinic settings; collect data; participate in training; adhere to BACB ethics; and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must have active RBT certification through the BACB, or willingness to obtain within a specified time frame.
• Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must pass background check and meet state-specific compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; dependable, patient and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home, school, and clinic settings.
• Implement behavior intervention plans as developed by a supervising BCBA.
• Accurately collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
• Assist in the assessment process through observation and documentation.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding client progress and concerns.
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings; maintain professional and ethical standards per BACB.
• Follow client-specific safety protocols and confidentiality requirements.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team. As an RBT, you will work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans for children and individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental conditions. • Must be dependable, patient, and flexible.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in physical activities such as sitting on the floor, running, or playing with children.
