Job summary

FunPlay ABA Therapy Services is hiring a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA/QBA/LBA to implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and support skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals for children with ASD and other developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field (preferred).
• Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred).
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to physically keep up with active children, including sitting, kneeling, and moving quickly if needed.
• Reliable transportation (if providing in-home or community-based services).
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans and behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate and timely data on client progress, behaviors, and skill acquisition.
• Provide 1:1 direct therapy to clients in home, clinic, and/or community settings.
• Assist in the development and reinforcement of communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.
• Implement behavior reduction strategies for challenging behaviors under BCBA guidance.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging therapeutic environment.
• Communicate professionally with BCBAs, caregivers, and other team members.
• Complete session notes and documentation daily, following payor and company guidelines.
• Attend required trainings, supervision meetings, and team meetings.
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

• Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging therapeutic environment

• Complete session notes and documentation daily, in compliance with payor and company guidelines
• Attend required trainings, supervision meetings, and team meetings
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
