Job summary

KidzThrive ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in the Bronx, NY. You will deliver therapy sessions, collect data, and support behavior plans under BCBA supervision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, flexible schedules (part-time or full-time), and strong communication skills to work with families and staff. HIPAA confidentiality is essential, and Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including part-time or full-time.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients, families, and team members.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and problem solve in a fast paced environment.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality of client information.
• Mandarin speaking a plus.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for ABA Responsibilities:

• Conduct one on one therapy sessions with clients using ABA techniques

• Maintain clear and effective communication with families, supervisors, and other relevant parties

• Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work flexible schedules including full-time or part-time options
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members
• Ability to follow instruction, work independently, and problem solve in a fast paced environment
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
• Mandarin speaking a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $26 an hour (based on education and prior work experience)

Schedule:

• Client sessions generally take place during the later afternoon hours and evenings, and are scheduled on most days of the week. Specific days and time vary by client.
