Job summary

Therapy & Beyond is seeking motivated individuals to join our ABA team as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). You will provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to children and adolescents under supervision of a BCBA, following Behavior Intervention Plans and helping develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a completed High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduates or students pursuing degrees in Psychology, Special Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Child Development, Social Work or Counseling are encouraged.
• RBT certification process support provided.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate 1:1, play-based ABA therapy in a clinic setting.
• Record and track patient progress with data collection and documentation.
• Follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision.
• Communicate with families and clinical management professionally.
• Assist patients with daily living skills such as feeding and toileting.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and professional standards.
• Support therapy sessions with speech or occupational therapy teams.
• Pursue RBT Certification within the first 60 days.

Job Description

Whether entry-level to the field of ABA or well versed as a RBT, we encourage all candidates to apply and support our mission of helping children with autism build skills for a lifetime of success! We have immediate openings for full-time or part-time positions (Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm operating hours) and will assist you through the RBT certification process! As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will provide one-on-one, play-based, ABA therapy services to pediatric and adolescent patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Under the supervision of a BCBA, teammates will follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and help patients further develop communication, motor skills, academic readiness, social skills, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate 1:1, naturalistic therapy services within a clinic-based environment
• Track patient progress over time by collecting data and submitting clinical documentation
• Following behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as outlined by your BCBA Supervisor
• Communicate professionally and consistently with clinical management and families
• Assist patients with daily living skills such as feeding and toileting
• Adhere to patient confidentiality by following HIPAA guidelines
• Provide behavioral support within speech or occupational therapy sessions
• Obtain RBT Certification within your first 60 days of employment
